Description

Hand-knotted by Bhadohi weavers, this 4 × 6 ft rug has a rust central field with a layered geometric medallion and four square rosette panels. A broad blue outer border is filled with floral and star-like motifs, with green and cream details across the inner bands. There is something ceremonial about the succession of borders around the medallion. Set it beside dark wood and pale walls.
