Description

Green flashes first, caught in a row of clear and green stones held inside a rectangular pendant, its border traced with a fine line of pearls. Rajasthan's silversmithing artisans have shaped this warm gold-toned setting entirely by hand, the same patient technique passed down for generations. The cord is dyed to match, twisted tight and finished with tassels that brush the wrist. This is the rakhi for the sibling who ties the thread just a shade tighter than necessary on Raksha Bandhan morning, sharing an inside joke only the two of them will ever get.
