This exquisite gold choker features a chand motif surrounded by intricate floral patterns and studded with polki, emeralds, ruby beads, and golden pearls. Partash is an age-old technique developed during the Mughal era, where uncut diamonds and gemstones are set into finely engraved gold bezels and secured with kundan to create solid gold settings. Revived in Jaipur after the Mughal decline, it remains a labour-intensive, entirely handcrafted artform.
