Description

A single length of beige jute spirals outward from a fixed point at this round rug's centre, each ring a little wider than the last until the coil fills the six-foot circle. A weaver plaits three strands flat by hand into a tight spiral. There is something unbroken about a design built entirely from rings, curved throughout. Pale wood furniture and a woven cane chair both suit it.
