Textured Stripes Beige Brown Lawan Jute Natural Fibre Rug

This four-by-six-foot beige natural-fibre rug is woven by hand from jute and cotton on a handloom. A weaver places narrow brown and muted mauve stripes at changing intervals across the pale centre, with broader striped panels along the two long sides. There is something quietly measured about the irregular spacing. Pair it with pale timber, linen, aged bronze or warm-toned earthenware.
